Terms & Conditions

1) By booking an event with Javelin Trackdays Ltd you agree to ensure that your vehicle is fit for purpose, mechanically sound and safe. You agree to abide by any rules that my be applicable to the event and you agree that your vehicle will comply with the noise requirements of the event. Failure to follow any of these rules may see you removed from the event and no refund or credit will be issued.

a). Tall and heavy vehicles such as 4x4’s are not permitted on our trackdays.

b). Single Seater and open wheeled vehicles are only permitted on our formula trackdays and sprint events.

c). Electric vehicles must be declared at the time of booking. Electric vehicles are not permitted at the following venues, Blyton Park, Mallory Park, Anglesey. Note that Anglesey also do not allow hybrid vehicles on track.


2) Bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking, a place is not reserved on a trackday until payment has been taken. The price payable will be the price applicable to that event / product / service on the date of payment NOT the date of order.
 
3) Javelin Trackdays Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse any bookings.

4) Cancellations :

a). Up to 10 days before an event you may request a refund or credit using our Cancellation Request Form, if the event is currently sold out then the booking will need to be replaced first before either option can be actioned. 

b). Within 10 days of an event you may request a credit using our Cancellation Request Form which can be issued on the provision that your booking can be replaced on the event first.

Any Refunds made are subject to a £20 administration fee. Credits are issued against the Javelin account of the person who booked the event and cannot be transferred to a different account. Only the person who made the original booking is authorised to request any changes be made and all requests must be made in writing using the Cancellation Form.

c). Within 72 hours of the event date no refunds or credit will be issued.

d). You may transfer your trackday place to someone else at any time using the Driver Transfer Form.

e). Bookings for sprint events observe the terms above but use the entry closing date as a deadline rather than the event date. The entry deadline is noon on the Wednesday prior to each event.
 
5) Any refunds / credits for bookings cancelled by clients are solely at Javelin Trackdays Ltd discretion.
 
6) Javelin Trackdays Ltd reserves the right to alter any of the prices on its website without prior notice.
 
7) Despite our best intentions, certain circumstances will mean that we reserve the right to amend or cancel any event, venue, circuit layout or event format without prior notice. In such a situation we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible. In the case of event cancellation by a venue or ourselves prior to the event date the terms below will apply. It is accepted that despite the best intentions of Javelin Trackdays Ltd events may be adversely affected by adverse weather, unforeseeable circumstances or on track incidents etc.

If an event fails to get underway and is cancelled :-
a). Bookings made directly with Javelin Trackdays will automatically be issued with a full credit which will last indefinitely. If you wish to request a refund instead then you must do so in writing no later than one month after the event date.
b). Bookings through a third party agent will be issued with a credit with us or the agent on an individual basis, full details will be confirmed in writing. Any requests outside of a credit must be made directly to the agent.

In such situations Javelin Trackdays Ltd will not be liable to refund any monies or expenses incurred as a result of events so affected. It should be noted that if a client cancels a booking prior to an event being officially cancelled by the Venue Operator or Javelin Trackdays Ltd then our normal Terms & Conditions will apply. There will be no retrospective refund or credit. 

8) To participate vehicles must comply with the noise levels specified for the event, note that noise management is down to the circuit and any decisions they make are final and no refund will be given for failure. Venues that specify driveby limits only will sometimes perform the corresponding static test on vehicles that have failed to verify adjustments have been made before allowing them back on track. Some venues that specify a static test only will also keep track of average noise levels throughout the event and reserve the right to remove vehicles that are causing excessive noise.

9) Javelin Trackdays Ltd or it's agents cannot be held responsible if your choice of event is unavailable or unsuitable.
 
10) Motoring events can be dangerous involving the risk of death or serious injury to participants. It is a condition of admittance that you and your passengers will be required to sign a Drivers or Passengers Risk Awareness Form prior to entering the pit-lane. This does mean that you accept full responsibility for any personal injury or damage to your own vehicle, howsoever caused. This indemnity will not apply to such liabilities etc, which have been established to have been due to the negligence of Javelin Trackdays Ltd or its Servants or Agents.
 
11) It should be noted that many Road Car Insurance policies do not cover the vehicle for damage whilst in trackday use. Trackday insurance is optional and should be arranged by the individual via a third party.
 
12) You accept that Javelin Trackdays Ltd events may be photographed and filmed. Therefore images of you or your property may appear on our websites, social media or in associated literature without your prior consent. If you do not wish to be featured as a subject in photographs then you must request that prior to the event start, you will still be visible in the background of others photographs however.

​13) These Terms and Conditions are governed by the jurisdiction of the laws of England & Wales

 

Privacy Policy

Javelin Trackdays Ltd has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website. We do not store personal or financial information in the process of payment, nor do we share such information with 3rd parties.

What data is collected ?

When you register on our website we collect your name, address & contact number along with your email address and your password on your account.

When you book via our website we also collect information on events you may be interested in as well as your vehicle details i.e. make/model.

When you browse our website we also collect information on the IP address and browser type being used.

How is that data used ?

To manage the accounts you have registered with us. All passwords are encrypted on the website and staff do not have access to that information at all.

We only use contact information to supply event details to participants or to respond to communication that has been directed at us via email or social media.

We only ever use contact information for marketing purposes when someone has specifically signed up for our newsletter during account registration or afterwards via the website. We’ve never sent out unsolicited marketing emails and never will.

When you browse our website we also collect information on the IP address and browser type being used.

How is that data stored ?

Account information is securely stored on our website.

All payment information online is securely handled via our payment providers. Javelin Trackdays Ltd does not host or store any payment information online. Where payment information is given via telephone, it is immediately shredded after processing.

Information supplied to us via indemnity forms is securely stored for a period of 7 years as required by law, this data is only in physical form.

If you wish to delete your data with us at any point then you can make that request via the Account Deletion Request Form

Our website is regularly scanned to ensure that it is safe.

How is that data shared ?

We will never sell your information or share it with other parties for marketing purposes.

We may share your personal information with our insurers in the event of a claim

We may share your personal information with the circuits that we use but only for legal purposes i.e. recording of an accident.

We would only ever share your personal information with another third party if we were legally compelled to do.
