Castle Combe circuit like many others was developed from an airfield site. The layout is still basically the old peri-track although definately not as bland as that comment may make it appear. The infamous quarry corner awaits the unwary but it offers huge rewards when driven well. The Esses, Camp and Tower corners just add to the enjoyment.
Javelin Trackdays are Castle Combe are planned to be Open Pit Lane events with sensible numbers of entries take. Please do not confuse these with the Action Day style of track time.
Despite the tightly controlled noise restrictions, Castle Combe is also Englands prettiest village, it is immensely popular.
